Logset is a forest machine manufacturer with a broad product range of forwarders, harvesters and harvester heads. The machines are built in Finland and exported around the world. Logset is a forerunner in the electrification of forest machines. The first Logset Hybrid harvester was launched in 2016. We are in forefront of technology and develop more effective and fuel- efficient forest machines for sustainable forestry.
We are now strengthening our team and we are looking for engineer(s).
Electrical engineer
Job description
Your main task is to develop and keep our hybrid harvester range in market lead, as it has been for 8 years.
Together with our experienced team and suppliers you develop and create new technologies in forestry electrification.
The work involves evaluating different technologies, designing new solutions and developing the control systems and thermal management.
You will be working as a part of a dynamic team, and together with our suppliers.
Academic qualification
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, high voltage systems
Work Experience & skills
To be successful in you work you will need knowledge about:
- Power Electronics, including inverters and motor controllers. Battery management system
- High voltage systems
- Thermal management system for electrical systems Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
- Programming of automation systems S1,S2 or S3 competence
- Team player skills and right attitude
