Logset is a forerunner in the electrification of forest machines. The first Logset Hybrid harvester was launched in 2016. PARTS MANAGER

Job description
Manage and develop Logset parts operation: Managing the spare parts engineer team and warehouse operation, developing inventory management and follow-up and spare part offering and marketing development. 

Key responsibilities & duties
Being responsible and managing the parts operation of Logset Oy. 
Manage the spare parts team handling sales and logistics. Active management on team towards customer orientation and building a class one team focusing on delivery.  

  1. Further developing inventory management practices, i.e. Warehouse management, optimal inventory level and forecasting needs, control and inventory rotation, stock quantities etc. 
  2. Being part in the parts offering and marketing development
  3. Building excellent and customer focused team in parts operations. 
  4. Technical knowledge to understand the parts and equipment need and define need per operation hour. 
  5. Setting pricing and maintaining profitability and assure competitiveness. 
  6. Collaborate with the sourcing organization in securing availability and active parts management. 
  7. Customer orientation towards active Sales and offerings. 

Academic & trades qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or logistics or a related field. 

Work experience & skills
3-5 years of experience in parts operation, preferably in managing role

  1. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team. 
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Experience with ERP software is preferred.
  5. Experience of actively developing parts business in ERP is seen as preference.
  6. Fluent in Finnish or Swedish and English, other language skills are beneficial
